RULE 28 WHEN - New Scale (Higher Time Scale ) begins with a Pay greater than Rs.68,700/ -and the when a substantive officer is promoted to a substantive post. Note : Time scale or Pay scale contains Basic pay and increments only. Consider an example of an officer who gets promoted on 01-09-2020 a) He is a higher official and was drawing a salary of Rs.72,000/- per month in his lower scale, with his increment due on December 2020 b) His lower scale was- 68,700-1,650-72,000-1,800-81,000-2,000-1,08,000-2,400-1,10,400 c) He is promoted from a substantive post to a substantive post. d) His new scale will be 77,400-1,800-81,000-2,000-97,000-2,200-1,08,000-2,400-1,15,200 Find which Rule is applicable to him?
