FIXATION AS PER RULE 28

 

1.Pay is fixed as per Rule 28 only if the officer gets promoted from a substantive post to another substantive position in which case he loses his lien in the lower post and as such any increment in the lower scale shall no be considered at all for the HTS (Higher Time Scale)

2. New Time Scale is above 68,700/-


Hot to fix salary (Rule 28)

The salary in the lower scale is considered. The next stage of the HTS is fixed as the new basic.

റൂൾ 28  പ്രകാരം ശമ്പളം നിർണ്ണയിക്കാൻ 2 നിബന്ധനകൾ പാലിക്കേണ്ടതുണ്ട്.

1 ) സ്ഥിരം പോസ്റ്റിൽ നിന്നും സ്ഥിരം പോസ്റ്റിലേക്ക് സ്ഥാനക്കയറ്റം കിട്ടുന്ന സാഹചര്യം . ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന് താഴത്തെ തസ്തികയിലെ ലാവണം ( lien ) നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു.

2 ) ശമ്പളം 68700 /- ൽ കൂടുതൽ വരുന്ന സാഹചര്യം 

താഴത്തെ തസ്തികയിൽ വാങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ശമ്പളത്തെ ഉയർന്ന ശമ്പള സ്കെലിലെ  തൊട്ടടുത്ത ഘട്ടമായി ഉയർത്തി ശമ്പളം ഫിക്സ് ചെയ്യും .


EXAMPLE : 

A substantive  official draws 81,000/- Basic pay as on 01.07.2015 on his lower time scale of 68700-1650-72000-1800-81000-2000-108000-2400-110400 with his increment due in July. He is promoted substantively on 1.2.2016 to a new scale 77400-1800-81000-2000-97000-2200-108000-2400-115200

Fix his salary 

Ans: Rule appilicable : 28

Salary in the lower scale - 81,000/-

Next stage in the HTS - 81,000+2000 = 83,000/-

Increment date : Every 1st of February
