 The period from a specific date to the previous day of the same date in the next month is called a month

Example : January 02 to February 01

January 31 to February 28/29

Example:01

Calculate the date of 1 year, 5 months and 18 days from 24-05-2016 ?

First Year is counted -     23-05-2017

Secondly Month is counted - ( 5 Months) 23-10-2017

Thirdly 18 days                    -  10-11-2017

 Example 02

25-10-2014 - 18-04-2019  is a leave period . Find the duration of the leave.

1. 24.10.2018                   4 year

2. 24.03.2019                  5 months

3.  25 days

Answer is 4 years, 5 months and 25 days
